Story: Neversink Highland: Elevation 1100-1400 ft. Rolling hillside bisected by Neversink River. Red sedimentary rock with moderate clay and sand mix. “Good” cropland with moderate drainage. Land sits at the east end of the Sullivan County plateau (above the Mamakating Hollow, before the river drops rapidly through a gorge). Good sun/ wind exposure. Mixed farm / forest pockets.
